In representing buyers and sellers of single-family homes, two and three­
family houses, multi-family apartment dwellings and and converting two and three family buildings into condominium units. Attorney Lipson has been successful in negotiating purchase and sale agreements for his clients, always recognizing that the ultimate goal is getting to “yes”. He has participated in real estate transactions not only in Brookline and the Greater Boston area, but in many other parts of the Commonwealth as well. He is frequently called upon to draft Master Deeds and Declarations of Trust in converting properties into the condominium form of ownership. Such lenders as the Brookline Bank, Bank of America, Citizens Bank and Fairway Independent Mortgage have used his services to represent them in real estate closings. Another of his areas of expertise is in the area of real estate tax abatements for both commercial and residential real estate.
